Extremely helpful, thanks for this. I may finally spring for the mitt on a stick - dragging a step stool back and forth has gotten old. 😂

I have a Mitt on a stick and it was the best purchase I’ve made in a long time love it

The mit on a stick is also great for detailers with physical disabilities like being in a wheelchair

I’m going to invest in the mitt on a stick. I’ve finally gotten tired of moving the step stool two dozen times per wash.

Wow, what a great video, brother !!

I am a full-time professional detailer. I love these videos.

Can you make a video on what polishes work great on the sun while providing the greatest cut and polish. Because we need that tools to work for us not us work for the tools lol

Mitt on a Stick Pro is amazing. Most the vehicles I wash are large, I can’t live without that thing

Great video Josh . I use similar methods myself . Large campers can be washed in a similar fashion as well, just with the use of ladders . I use Large diameter pool noodles to wrap the contact points on my ladders to prevent any damage to the camper sides. 😉

Water here on Omaha, NE is around 500-700 TDS. I buy 5 gallon jugs and rinse with it and use it solely with premixing my Rinseless wash. A true game changer

Water spots are the worst. We get them here in my area and my water reads at 140. DI tank is a life saver.

Thanks Josh, great tips. I’m going to order a Mitt on a Stick because it would make washing my 4x4 Tundra so much easier!! BTW, love your 2nd generation Tundra in this video 👍👍

Awesome video. Actually washed my mom’s Tundra yesterday, it was hit by sprinklers for over a week straight and just sits in the sun ☀️ and it’s been 95-100 degrees every day. Needless to say, the paint looked so bad and felt terrible. I hit it with Lift for a pre wash, AP for bugs and grime, DIY Incredible Suds for contact wash, iron remover and DIY Waster Spot remover. It was a la or of love but still tons of water spots left. It does look 10xs better but still lots of spots. I also couldn’t really get to the roof so the roof looks really bad and that’s where you can see the comparison. Going to try giving it a full decontamination wash an again this weekend with Koch Chemie Active and CarPro Descale. Also going to hit with with a clay towel and ordering the Autofiber Mitt On A Stick. Hopefully better results. But I’m sure a polish will probably be needed.

Question about the deionizer. Do you run/use it the whole time with the foam cannons and all the rinsing. Or just at the end with the final rinse?

Super helpful video Josh, having an Expedition and a lifted Silverado makes wash days a chore, maybe not so much now! Ordering a mitt on a stick!

The incredistick with a clay mitt head would be a pretty cool option if they dont already have it

I have to agree with Mitt on the Stick Pro being amazing. I bought it and a few extra covers originally, but I liked it so much I bought a second one for the dreadnought drying cover. I also bought an extension for each so now there is more than enough length. Not cheap but awesome anyway.

you have the best video when it comes to detailing it like those other guys man they’ve make it sound like it’s rocket science I know how to do it just with all the new stuff out now that’s what I need to learn because there’s so many different things that we have now that was an out in the 90s oh and the first job I had as a detailer I worked at a body shop and this is before they had Carfax and it was Jeff Shaw‘s collision but he use the name he pay do use the name Car Star whatever that was back then like when I worked there he had all BMWs Mercedes jaguars like all high-end cars and he was real particular about everything but now I know why what was it like 2006 2007 when they start totaling vehicles out so easy like it’s crazy how easy they will total a vehicle but that’s because of those hack shops that would half ass fix peoples cars and they would get in two or three accidents and then people would die because the car wasn’t fixed The correct way but my brother has a shop on motor shop and they do everything mechanical work bodywork he’s never there he bought up international rollback tow truck right before the pandemic and a friend of his he was in the towing game for a minute like 1015 years prior so he has contracts with the department of defense of Dundalk marine terminal down there with a key bridge fell I believe that’s where that ship left room because there’s two different ports but no my brother he toes a lot of armored vehicles Land Cruiser and suburbans for the government but he also tows freight The company deals with I went with him one day and they put they were in wooden boxes and on top of pallets they brought them out with the forklift and put it on the back of his rollback we drove like a half hour away and he made $800 just for dropping them off I drove with him to North Carolina from Baltimore to drop a vehicle off and I believe it was like $2400 we left at five in the morning when we got back around 530 6 o’clock in the evening but we made at least six stops and every time you stop a Muslim naviga half hour 40 minutes off your drive time this was a federal agents car I believe it was a blue BMW SUV with the undercover blue light in it lights in the side of the grill open

So since I got this line disease right now I want to start detailing again and it’s so much easier learning from you couple of the other guys that I watch I know they just change the formula on the Cerakote and when I left on Amazon think it was like $60 for two bottles and I was watching him a video he did he had the first formula on the car already and when he got the car back to wash it again I can’t remember exactly how long before he had it last but he took painters tape and made them square hood and one on the side of the car the car door and he added the new Cerakote Toronto because they were having a problem with it curing I am here what is showing how well the new stuff work on that video and I was thinking about buying some but I wanted to know how long it last lasted I gotta check that out but from what I hear when you apply that stuff to your vehicle and when you do washes in between you should get a spray and ceramic coating spray answer you wash your vehicle then I watch the video the name of it is ceramic coatings and it says it last eight years I don’t think any of that stuff last eight years I could be wrong I don’t know what your experience was the longest has something ever lasted
