Here's a quick and easy way to kill FCA's worst new feature!

You're a gentleman and a scholar. I bought my truck to use it for truck things, I hate the knob shifter and I despise this auto park crap. Buying one of these tonight for my ram. I wish they'd go back to the trusty column shifter, it doesn't feel like a truck without it

OMG that is awesome, I live on a farm and auto park is absolutely horrible. I'm getting all sorts of pissed off everyday. You go through a gate door opened it stops vehicle and you gotta put in park then back into drive. Thank you so much for this.

I hate that stupid auto park too! Have it on my ‘18 Rebel and ‘19 JL Wrangler, scared the crap out of me the first time it activated too. Same issue you mentioned, hooking up the trailers is a big PITA!!! The other issue I have with the “nanny” features is getting use to them while driving one vehicle and then forgetting they aren’t there to “protect” you when operating a different vehicle!

The irony is that the only people that will be saved by this "safety feature" are the one who really shouldn't be. This feature goes against the evolutionary process.

Or, keep a 16p nail in your door or one of the many trays and when you open the door you can use the nail to “lock/close” the doors latch and the truck will think the door is closed. Just remember to pull door handle to open the door latch so it doesn’t bang against the stud in the frame of the door.

well i decided to bypass the door ajar switch so i could jump in and out of the truck when doing what ever. so i go out there and get the door panel off and just about every thing else and come in here to look up the wiring diagram and found your video then when you showed the extender it dawned on me. my son told me 2 years ago if i wanted to bypass the auto park plug in the seat belt. so thanks for jarring my memory i am back in business again.. going to purchase a couple of those extenders so the next time i wont pull the door apart again.

This is so frustrating in my new Jeep, we have a gate on our probably and in the years that I’ve been driving I’ve never closed the door when I jump back in to pull through the gate. And yeah it always freak scares me when it slams the brake on!

Hey man I have the same truck bought it brand new with 77 miles I’m at 52, 000 almost 2years later and my heater core went out unfortunately it’s not covered under warranty they said it’s not Included in my drivetrain or powertrain

Great video, thank you so much for posting. The tip regarding the Fumoto valve was helpful. Since posting, do you have recommendations regarding the filter? Is it still necessary to replace the entire housing cartridge, or have you seen an after market filter (only) that works?
