Does anyone else from the UK or Ireland around 1986 or so remember Prescriptives Makeup? They used to do a customised foundation, it was so good but quite expensive for me as a 21 year old young Mum. I got one foundation and it was totally perfect. However when I saved up again and went to buy it the person at the makeup counter said it was no longer available because the company was no longer trading. I often think of it yet.

I bought the foundation in the Black Friday sale and it really does work. Considering most cameras on phones are pretty naff it worked out perfect. I’ve just finished going through chemo so needed a pick me up and treat and it needed to be a perfect match so I had no foundation line.
Their app scans your face a few times and they do ask you what coverage you want and what finish and also what type skin you have. i.e. oily, dry etc. I chose light to medium with a natural finish and it was spot on. I would say it is also buildable if you wanted it to be. I was feeling pretty rough the day I tried it and ended up falling asleep with it on. Even the following morning there was no separation around the nose or mouth area. I don’t know what magic goes into creating this foundation but it’s the first time in 55 years I’ve felt that I’m wearing the foundation and not the other way around. It’s just perfect and definitely worth a try. I will definitely be investing in the concealer and drops ;)

Because it’s custom made you won’t have anyone wanting to ‘borrow’ your foundation

You can choose your coverage as well as getting the colour match. The customer service is amazing. Great company all round.

Wayne I also have an open plan very high ceiling home (in the US where everyone keeps the heat on 24/7). Getting ceiling fans cut down so much on the heating costs! You can reverse the direction in the winter to push the hot air down (or something, I’m not sure what) and then in the summer they keep the house much cooler. And I love the perfect match foundation. I also didn’t believe it would work LOL.

I thought the drops gave your skin warmth and made the blusher a little more warm toned but the foundation was spot on and the blusher seemed cooler.

I have this foundation in 3 different formulas. Best match I have ever had and the formula wears well. When taking your photos it’s important to follow the instructions.

My skin used to be oily ( I guess it still is ) but since I started to wear Niacinamide from Deciem ( the ordinary line ) I have noticed that my skin is a lot less oily and I don't need to do anything during the day, Niacinamide is amazing...that foundation is really nice, well done.

Clinique and No7 had a foundation you could adjust with droplets of various colours.

re: heating with tall ceilings.. candles in iron or other hard metal holders make an amazing difference in room temps..pro tip..fans must be circulating from top to bottom.. ceiling fans generally will have a switch ..two directions for winter use..yanking all that warm air from the top of the room to the bottom

Thanks Wayne. I swear I find out about the best things through your channel! This foundation sounds promising. It'll be interesting to see how well this matches black skin, given we can have different shades on different parts of our face, sometimes and deal with hyperpigmentation. Also, in a case where the neck is darker than the face, due to the previously stated reasons, I wonder which the foundation would be matched to.

Prescriptives custom blended powder and custom blended foundation were amazing. It was the best makeup that I ever used. It truly was my skin but better.

Hi Wayne, you are the ONLY YouTuber I listen to. I bought the NARS foundation on your recommendation and it’s great but a bit “formal” for day to day wear as I don’t work anymore.
