Tannerite Refrigerator Explosion Shockwave Bubble

1# of tannerite inside of the freezer. Used a 22-250 Model 700 to shoot it with. It make a awesome smoke ring and a nice blast came with it. Have a few videos of different angles.

Wow- that really WAS a "bubble". I've seen plenty of videos with a visible shock wave, but usually it appears as a ring shooting outward along the ground. Pretty cool!

In middle school we built devices that don't this very same thing. We were competing to see who could blow out a candle from the furthest distance. Cardboard boxed tape and sealed up. 2 holes cut in it, one in back one in front, then seal up 1 hole with plastic wrap Making sure its tight like a snare drum. Thump the wrap and a air blast would shoot across the room and blow out the candle.

My friends would have loved this. They were chemists - actually got a patent for stabilization of nitro glycerin in early 1970s. They were always blowing things up. ( but never damaging others or other property ). They are both gone now. Great memories.
