You left out the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie. Spend the afternoon touring demonstrations by actual Pacific Islanders, and then enjoy a Luau with a stage show in the evening. The drive to get there from Honolulu / Waikiki is very scenic as well. Punchbowl cemetary has some excellent views from the hilltop as well as WW II memorial mosaics. Hiking trails are available all over the place. Snorkeling Hanauma Bay is always fun.

I'm having a major dilemma. I'm wondering if you can help. I want to travel and originally I wanted to go visit my friend in New York but prices so incredibly high. Same price as europe is ridiculous imo. Anyways. I have 3 days off every week. I wanted to take a flight Thursday night, get somewhere by Friday morning. And then leave Sunday. I work Sunday night. My main interest is monuments. When I went to Europe, I had a chance to go to Italy or even Amsterdam but I chose London and Paris for the iconic monuments. I previously went to Barcelona to visit my friend. Amsterdam seemed great but it seemed like a place to go with a friend since it seems there's just too many people during nightlife for 1 person. And italy seemed too crowded to wait in line to see museums.

As for the US, I have most interest in big cities like New York, Seattle (which I've gone to many many time), Chicago, and more than anywhere, my main interest was New orleans since i love jazz, culture, cajun food. And then Hawaii, or even Philly, Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa, Washington DC, Boston, or even san antonio, dallas, nashville, austin, dallas (i lived in dallas for a few months), etc

However because of prices, I'm narrowed down to Miami or Honolulu. I'm not a big beach person. I won't be going to the beach. I just want to see monuments. I don't have much interest for them since Im from LA and we already have beaches. Which is why I want to see monuments, busy nightlife

I can only go within US or Mexico or Canada somewhere close since my off time is limited to 3 nights, or 4 days
