Earlier this year, the Thailand team visited a pilot chicken farm in Thailand that humanely raises chickens and develops organic, plant-based products.
This farm has been undertaking a new programme in partnership with the research and grant-making foundation Open Philanthropy.
Named Investing in Others, this initiative provides financial and technical support to organisations across Southeast Asia.
Advocating and improving animal welfare is the priority, and Patom Organic Living is overseeing this project.
Working with 150 organic farmers and various partners, Patom is supporting their switch from more conventional farming practices to organic and more progressive practices.
By working together to implement higher welfare practices, we can end cruel factory farming.
