That Steve Jordan drum lick!

I love this thing that Steve Jordan does when he is improvising or soloing.

I heard that lick many times before - it's all over - but the way he does the ostinato repeating it pretty much forever is very cool and he made it his own, thats for sure.

I threw a few permutations moving around the bar while soloing and also using the toms to make it a little more compositional rather than just a lick. Figure the hand pattern out first and then go to town. It's a great little drum lick fill thing to get the juices flowing and save heating your house up using fuels or electricity haha A drummer is his own heating system, and this is a good lick for that.
