Original -vs- Definitive :: PAPARAZZI PURGE :: GTA 3

In this video I will make a comparison between the original GTA 3 game released in 2001 and the Definitive Edition of GTA III released in 2021.
The mission I will look at today is "Paparazzi Purge". I will compare the tasks, execution, speedrun tactics and gameplay between both versions.

I don't like the new police boat model. Before i used to stick the boat's back to the dock and jump on the dock over its back. Now I can only jump out over the sides.

I really appreciate the subtle changes made in the Definitive Edition, and while I agree that the police boat spawn location is convenient, I can’t consider a fast police boat a con. Just let go of the accelerate button when necessary, slower vehicles are perhaps easier to drive because you just hold the accelerate button without much thought, but with a faster boat you have more control

In my opinion the toughest mission ever it took me 10 tries to complete and I did the speedrun strat

what is strange is that for me even on the original version the police boat still spawned at the closest dock (and yes it was 1.0 version) so i dont know how it spawned at the farther dock for you

It doesn't matter that the police boat is faster, cause even someone who doesn't do speedruns, would use the speedrun tactic. At least I do. Why would I waste time chasing?😉
