Explosive crash shuts down bridge in San Pedro

A big rig containing lithium ion batteries overturned in San Pedro Thursday afternoon, sparking a fire, disrupting port operations and causing a massive traffic nightmare with the closure of a major freeway for 24 to 48 hours.

funny how this accident happens right as the huge ports in New York are about to go on strike. And another coincidence like the two boats crashing into bridges leading into other major ports. Almost like someone is testing our nation's capacity to deal with supply chain disruptions.
