I love the way his mom says “You’re dead” with the most serious straight face ever.

The fact that he managed to get 3-A's and 1-B for his classes while similtaneously being Spiderman insanely impressive.

It's nice to see parents in media actually acting like parents

I love how when Miles’ mom snaps, the sound resembles the Puerto Rican flag. Such a cool detail.

AP Physics is actually one of, if not the hardest AP classes out there, so Miles having an A in there is actually pretty awesome

it’s the fact that rio’s spanish isn’t translated but even non spanish speakers still can feel her inner rage

I love how it captures the essence of a Latina mom in Rio, as a Latino, I can tell that this is how moms are around here 😹
Great job, Spider-Crew!

I bet being at school AND being Spider-Man is ridiculously hard.

They need to give him more credit. An A in AP physics? Miles is a genius.

I love how the scene cuts back to Miles counselor's face because she knew he was about to start capping 😂

Rio Morales at the end made me laugh 😂

I have a feeling Mrs. Morales might pull out la Chancla on Miles.

I love that scene in Spanish. Really hits home
When I start mixing Spanish and English in one sentence. My mom gets hella offended and corrects me 😅

😂😂😂 I felt that when Miles' mom got upset about the Spanish class grade

I actually enjoy when other languages aren't subtitled by default. I don't know Spanish, so 1 - it is a nice reminder of language barriers and 2 - I enjoy the challenge of using context clues such as tone and facial expressions to try and interpret what is being said.

Even though I’m not black, I still feel Miles’ pain. Having your parents find out your grades have been slipping is no fun for anyone.

I love how when she snaps her fingers, the Puerto Rican flag pops out.

Getting B while missing 6 classes is kinda impressive, tbh.

Miles' spider sense against his enemies: eh, he can handle it. We've got it covered.
Miles' spider sense when his mom finds out he skipped classes and has a lower grade: DEFCON FIVE, BATTLE STATIONS, THIS IS NOT A DRILL
