I feel extremely stressed right now. The uncertainty in our education is causing my mental health to go downhill. The government has failed us. - they don't realise that whatever they are doing right now is causing us to be inundated with unease as to what would happen. I'm surprised the government are still committed to exams happening in 2021, considering the Teacher's Union's decision to take action against the government and the fact that we're already missing out on learning.

Of course it can’t be safe to open schools – if it’s too dangerous to open pubs, restaurants, hairdressers and so on – then schools have to be at least as dangerous and probably more so.

i think they’re not announcing cancelling our exams cos they don’t want us to stop working, so they’re going to announce it at the last minute after our mocks etc

The government just doesn't seem to understand what it actually is like in a school. There is no place to social distance in classes as many are full. My school is nearly at full capacity so there is no chance of social distancing in corridors and school buses are also full. Even Boris Johnson himself said schools were not safe, even if it was is in the most indirect way possible ('Schools are safe, but the household mixing in schools are dangerous) .

exactly we need clarity-we need the government to look at the bigger picture
lives are being lost not number our family- our loved ones
no one goes out with the intention to get covid
we need to act fast-we need to act now!
if gcse are going to get canceled we need to know so both students and teachers can prepare
its the only safe option
as much as it hurts me it has to be done for the wellbeing of our nation
