The hosts & Rick were great. The film is facinating. Holding such tiny birds. Will visit there soon. Norfolk County has a lot going for it.

This is exactly what the Tatla Lake School's primary class experienced when we went bird banding at the Tatlayoko Lake Bird Observatory in the Chilcotin area of British Columbia this past September. I think one of our favourite birds was the ruby crowned kinglet (which just happens to be my nature name). My daughter and I returned a few different nights to catch Northern Saw-Whet owls. Rick is right, they are incredibly soft. This video clip brings back wonderful memories. I hope we get to do this again next year. The students just loved connecting with nature!
