Thanks! It clearly shows hoe to do it! The oscilloscope does recal memories, I used it Durlinger my first job. Have a ‘modern’ one now, can do a lot more, but very often less is beter….

A great piece of instructional guidance, Simon, and as you stated, Lissajous curves always show up clearer when using an analogue scope.

Nice to see a Wobble box again nearly bought one of those many years ago we used a lot of Marconi ones to re align TV IF's years ago as out of the factories were often miles out !

Thank you for an interesting video. I had to look up "wobbulator", never heard a sweep generator called that before! I assume it is from the German "wobbeln" meaning sweep. A very nice S curve in the end. Regards, David

Can I see the wave form from the sweep output to the X input of the oscilloscope? I assume that the RF output is just a carrier not modulated, is that correct? At which frequency? The webster electronic marker is a simple transmitter at 10.7 Mhz in the vecinity of the radio you want to calibrate?

Thank you for doing this. I've just got a pm5326 and struggling to prise off the knob caps. Not great for self-esteem. How do you do it without mangling them?

Interesting and intriguing video. I'd like to apprentice in your workshop but being a. 65 year old retired mathematician with only a strong interest in electronics makes a new career pretty unlikely.
