Man Caught Peeping Into Neighbor’s Window: Cops

A peeping Tom has been arrested after police say neighbors reported someone looking in their window. Surveillance video from a home shows a man walking up to a window and staring inside. A deputy with the Volusia County Sheriff’s office approached the suspect, who they identified as Steven Johnson, as he was seen walking out from between two homes in Debary, Florida. This is a familiar situation. Few years ago when my family complained that someone had been coming to our backyard in the middle of the night. I didn't believe it until one night I fell asleep on our couch. I saw a shadow of a man outside of the window and ran away when he saw me. I recognized it was our neighbor. Since then I installed cameras around my house and locked our backyard gate(not all of our neighbours installed backyard gate). He stopped coming close to our home ever since.

My family had a peeping Tom back around 1990. A man was caught peeping in on my sisters window and was chased across the street and tackled in the middle of the night by our next door neighbor. That man was eventually arrested. Ted Bundy started off as a peeping Tom. It’s nothing to chuckle at as nothing

I was always scared of this when I was younger. I couldn't care less about walking in the forest at nights, I was never worried someone would break in etc, BUT I was always terrified of windows in case someone was staring in lol

I remember hearing the term “peeping Tom” when I was younger and after understanding what it meant being so curious as to what drives this behavior.. Whatever is driving it must be a strong emotion because I can’t imagine being so curious that I peek through a strangers window.. I would feel like the ultimate creep and guilty/shameful

This is why I keep my curtains closed. Even if someone were peeking in from the outside, they wouldn't see anything but fabric or window blinds.

It always starts with voyeurism then it escalates to rape and then it inevitably ends in murder. Most serial killers started out as "peeping toms"

I was about 9 yrs old and I heard the cutting of my window screen. I look up and saw a hand and then a leg coming through my window. I screamed bloody murder and the intruder ran off. This was back in 1970. Nobody believed me until the next day. Footprints under my window, and a pair of blue jeans in our bushes!

This happened to my place 1 month ago. My brother in law was eating cereal 10pm and heard a noise. Thought it was me. 5 minutes later he saw someone fully looking through the window standing on a deck chair and they made eye contact dude ran once he saw someone in the house spotted him. Freaking creeps man!
