Starjunk 95 x BELELA - Virtual Paradise EP

"This time the crew finds themselves on a journey spanning across the Infinite Waves of reality that happen across our universe. They unknowingly found themselves in a paradise in the galaxy - a seemingly utopian resort that had everything you could want. Tropical nature and a futuristic resort created a wonderfully calming aesthetic for travelers. It was truly a paradise, and the crew enjoyed everything it had to offer. However, after exploring this perfect world they started to notice some flaws in this other-worldly place. They explored the outer reaches of the island to find there was an end to the ocean - the Ocean's End, with an invisible wall preventing them from leaving! That's when they realized this perfect world wasn't so perfect at all, and in fact was a Virtual Paradise that they got trapped in!
The issue wasn't just that they were stuck in this world, but it was so perfect and ideal that they didn't want to leave! All of the crew found themselves basking in the sublime luxury, too preoccupied with how heavenly everything felt to even care that they were succumbing to this virtual world's power. Anytime someone got a faint thought of leaving, there was a staff member on hand to give them a false ease of mind or distraction to keep them there longer.
Eventually the fight wasn't even about convincing this world that they needed to leave, but rather convincing themselves by mustering up the willpower and mental fortitude to leave this place. To do this, they would have to raise their energetic vibrations to be stronger than that of their environment. They were having a difficult time doing that with all the luxurious distractions, and that's when an angelic voice from "outside" reigned down upon this fake utopian paradise - penetrating the walls and erasing every fake narrative and limiting mental construct with ease. It was if a wave of realization was cast over the entire resort, waking them up from their unconscious realms, and within a blink of an eye the crew members were up on their feet and ready to fight. Jetta immediately threw a roundhouse to one of the staff members carrying a tray of tropical drinks, but her kick went right through him and did nothing...he wasn't real. None of this was. In fact, this reality was a mere distraction - a seemingly artificial reality amongst an infinite number of realities in the universe. That's when that same voice rained down with a frequency so divine and powerful it split open the walls of this Virtual Paradise and shined a bright light - guiding the Starjunk crew to their ship and creating a path for them to leave. Could this have been the voice of an angel or otherworldly being? There were legends of a mysterious guiding force in the galaxy that took the shape of a female and would help travelers from getting stuck on their journeys. This divine helper was known as BELELA to some, and to others she was simply a conduit to open the doors for all sentient beings to realize their destiny. Either way, the crew knew what they had to do.
It was going to be a sad goodbye, as this world provided everything they could have asked for in a short amount of time. However they knew it wasn't real and staying there would only be an escape from reality and their mission. And so, the crew pulled themselves together and ran to their ship, started up the Starjunk 95 and took off. Upon flying away they looked back in awe at the mysterious world they we're so captivated in. As they got further away it became more and more apparent how flawed and fake this world was. From the outer horizons you could see transparent walls, pixelated objects, and Vector Valleys. They stayed silent as they left, leaving behind only an Intergalactic Interlude of memories and space dust.
The Starjunk crew got lucky this episode, and while they remained silent one couldn't help but wonder - was this a random occurrence in the vast space of our universe, or did someone purposefully create this to hinder the crew from going forward? If that's even possible and someone or some group did this, what else are they capable of?
When will we meet the other crew members? When will we learn more of the Starjunk story and what's in store for this crew? Only time will tell. Until next time..
