Hi Brian! Is this one overdubbed or is your guitar tuned down a half step? Playing along with the video I'm in standard tuning at capo 2 but it looks like your capo is on the third fret . . .

Dadd9 and Cadd9 but he's using the A as the root note for the D chord and a G for the C chord. At least that's what it looks like.
