2025 Mercedes-AMG E53 Review

The 2025 Mercedes-AMG E53 4MATIC+ ($105,000 starting in Canada, $88,000 starting in the US) is all new and has now been hybridized with electric power. This helps its 3.0 L inline-6 turbo engine make a combined 577 horsepower, 553 lb ft of torque, and gives it around 69 km (nice) of electric only range. But with all the new added tech comes some added weight that might affect how it handles on the road. So how does the new E53 hybrid drive and how does it fare against its competitors? "Ruth's Chris" refers to the name of a famous steakhouse, where "Ruth" is the name of the founder, Ruth Fertel, and "Chris" comes from the original restaurant she purchased called "Chris Steak House" - essentially, when she had to relocate due to a fire, she kept the "Chris" part but added her own name to create "Ruth's Chris Steak House"

The weight without driver is 2315 KG according to their website, around 5090 burger pounds.
The Pilot Sport 4s is a pretty loud tire in wide configurations, I suggest a different, less sporty tire will take a lot of road noise away.

According to the German website, the EU model weighs around 2.390kg/ 5.269lbs (empty). I suspect that the weight for other markets will not differ greatly.
