Hey Trevor! How do you get the high A and D string to sound so clean in the first example without them ringing out after the tapping? I tried using my left hands index finger to mute them but that really hinders my left hand tapping. Also is there a specific EQ you prefer for sounds like this? I notice a lot of mids in this video and I feel it really cleans up the sound aswell. I tried using a compressor for this and it really made the high end overbear every other frequency for example.

Have you thought about releasing your own songs? I think they'd do really well.

Must be an acquired taste, I've been playing a long time, and it sounds like Scofield or Gambini, maybe Holdsworth fusion jazz which, I've always felt sounded like a jumbled mess, sorry .. no disrespect to their knowledge and definitely not to their skills, but it was never pleasant to my ears.
