Hey! Awesome vid, very helpful! I just wanted to say something. You seemed a little confused at 5:12 about why 151 turned into 75. The reason I believe is because the number you get isn't whatever value follows the 1. It follows the input formula, just in reverse. 151-1=150, and 150/2=75. Likewise, you got 9999 from 19999 because 19999-1=19998, and 19998/2=9999.

IT MUST BE A ODD NUMBER WHEN CHANGING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY YOU HAVE. If you do 5000 it will crash. Easiest way it to just do 2500*2+1 written in the value while changing the money address to new amount. You can actually type *2+1 into cheat engine and it will calculate for you.

You can just do (number)*2+1 in the field where you type the value instead of using a calculator :3

Thank you for this! Question... I have only a single Rare Candy in my game, but want infinite. Is there a way to find out which Address the rare candy is if I only have 1. I have 1 of a billion other items as well, so telling the difference between them in Cheat Engine seems impossible lol

Non Cheat Guide to Infinite Pokedollers

1 - Buy super splicers (1.000)

2- Reach Celadon City

3- Save Silph co

4- Sell the splicer (5.500)

5- Exit Silph and Buy a Pokemart Super Splicer

6-Repeat

im trying to duplicate my rare candies, but i only have one. i tried your method but it didn't work, do i need more than 1 or is there another method for only having 1?

instead of the faff of using a type in the amount of pokebucks you have (say 3, 999) into Cheat engine as - 3999*2+1 then scan. As long as you include the *2+1 part after your amounts, you have no need for a calculator.

Bro i need help, i cannot figure out why it doesn't work for me, tried multiple times already but absolutely nothing. I have a macbook, cheatengine works alright until i perform the 2nd scan with my own value but still it doesn't work, it will not find me the exact value in the 2nd acan, evwry time it shows as "0 Matches found" got any pointers?

I wonder if with cheat engine you can control the encounters somehow?
I tried myself by letting the engine look up the ID of the current wild pokemon, same with the second encounter, the numbers added up perfectly, however when I tried to adjust it, it did not work.

I'm doing exactly what the video is doing, (let's say 222 x 2 + 1 = 445) Got the number and did it all, only add one number to it (let's say 22 + 1 = 23) Crashes Every time

Genuine question, can you change the difficulty using Cheat Engine? For example to Easy or to Hard
