Welcome to the first episode in a new build series from the Shed of Dreams, in this series I will be building a replica of Keith Richards Micawber Telecaster for an old friend of mine. Episode 1 covers cutting out and routing the body shape of the guitar.

Also, why not follow me Instagram and Facebook, I often post stuff there before I do on YouTube...

A great start to what I'm certain is going to turn into yet another great guitar from the shed of dreams.

Im a Telecaster guy, I have always wanted a set neck or neck through Telecaster with a P90 in the neck position and a centre strat pickup Nashville style and a quilted maple cap and a natural binding reveal, I am going to have to build this guitar as I cant afford to commission one.

An ash Tele is so iconic, if I could find a chunk that didn’t cost an arm and a leg, I’d join you! Really looking forward to this one 🙂

Looks great again! I keep saying I want to string up one of my teles with only five strings. And work on my KR riffs.

Looks like a great build once again.. and looking forward to your decision on the GGBO.. I noticed you worked the body on the router in both directions.. is that because you were so close to the template shape.. I was always told to run your material in one direction only to avoid issues.. I think being so close to the template avoids any grain tearout.. can't wait to see this butterscotch finish!!

You've got 5 minutes to tell me you're building something other than a Les Paul copy.
