A group of distinguished Israeli public figures, including former ambassadors and academics, has urged European Union countries and the UK to promptly recognise a Palestinian state, citing principles of historic justice and the need for regional peace. Alon Liel, former Director of Israel's Foreign Ministry and ambassador to South Africa and one of the signatories of the letter, emphasized the importance of diplomatic solutions over military actions in addressing Israel's current challenges. In an interview with Al Jazeera, He highlighted concerns about Israel's international standing and the potential repercussions of pursuing a military approach. Alon expressed apprehension about recent developments, such as Egypt's announced support for a genocide lawsuit against Israel, warning of significant diplomatic consequences for Israel's relationships in the Middle East.

The problem is the artificial colonial settler state of Isreal having no regard to international law and human life. What Israel is doing is not self-defense, because it has no right to it as the occupier. Israel has proven to be an outlaw state. What is the international community going to do about that?

According to the UN Charter, Palestine has a right to an armed struggle against occupation.

As a Muslim, above all, as a human being I am ashamed of Arab rulers & Muslim leaders. Praise to S. Africa, Ireland, Nicaragua, Spain & few other courageous countries that stand against the genocide.

How can the world watch Israel's offensive against Gaza when everyone is only condemning, why no action even if needed by force by the world leaders is taken immediately to stop the genocide

And for israel, Expulsion from the United Nations is a procedure under Article 6,  Chapter II of the United Nations Charter when a member state of the United Nations can be expelled from the organization. This can be done when a member state has persistently violated the principles of the United Nations Charter

Why can't the Secretary general of UN who is supreme commander of UN peace keeping forces send Multinational UN peace keeping forces to Gaza immediately to stop genocide and carnage in Gaza. He is not going to be hanged publicly by the ICJ for sending peace keeping forces to Gaza
