RIMPAC, the Rim of the Pacific Exercise, is the world's largest international maritime warfare exercise. RIMPAC is held biennially during June and July of even-numbered years from Honolulu, Hawaii.

With RIMPAC the United States Indo-Pacific Command seeks to enhance interoperability among Pacific Rim armed forces, as a means of promoting stability in the region to the benefit of all participating nations

For those who don't know RIMPAC
It is one of most important multi nation marine exercise. It is being conducted in pacific ocean.
It is conducted in every 2 yrs and the number of partcipating countries this year was 28.

This was the first time Indian forces ever participated in it and the mighty MARCOS were representing INDIA.
The indigenous INS satpura was also the part of this exercise.

-Guys all SPECIAL FORCES of INDIA are well equipped as per their requirement.
-MARCOS have some extra special weapons because they carry out operations in SEA.
-INDIA have "AFSOD" special forces too which is consists of PARA SF, MARCOS and GARUD.
In AFSOD all special forces work together. It is very similar to SEAL Team 6 of USA but the concept of AFSOD is even better.

Our guys seem to have more freedom of range and movement which is good . Others look more heavy but tactical with all that gear . Also didn't see any secondary weapon on our MARCOS.
