On this special episode of The Kurt Angle Show, the guys are joined by the "Demo God" himself, Chris Jericho! Topics include Chris "stealing" the Undisputed Championship, WrestleMania 2000, working with Shawn Michaels, Chris' latest WWE run, and much more! Kurt Angle is a 14-time professional wrestling world champion, with titles collected in WWE, TNA, and Japan. He is in both the WWE and TNA/Impact Hall of Fames, a two-time NCAA Division 1 National Champion, and has also won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 1996 Summer Games with, as he likes to say, ‘a broken freaking neck.’ At every stop in his career, Angle has reached the top of the mountain, and now he’s taking his Three I’s; Intensity, Intelligence, and Integrity, to the podcast world as he joins host Conrad Thompson to take a look back at some of the matches, feuds and moments that turned an Olympic gold medalist into one of the greatest sports entertainers of all time. It’s True. It’s damn true

I just want to take a second to make sure we recognize that Chris Jericho cut a 3 minute promo on Austin without even mentioning that he beat him AND the Rock in the same night to become le champion incontesté.

Jericho: He's not gonna just be wearing a shirt and shorts.

That didn't age well...

Whether you’re a Aew or a WWE mark, we need to hear break the walls down one more time in wwe before he finally retires. Jericho is one of the 🐐s regardless what happens

Jericho looks great by the way! Love listening to him talk about the business. Jericho, Cody, & Scott Hall will forever be my top 3 wrestlers to listen to talk about the ins and outs of the business

I agree KO was the best choice, the only other person I could see is maybe Sami Zayne. He can work that paranoid comedic heel, great worker/seller, overall great sports entertainer! I mean look at the Knoxville match, completely over delivered imo and who else but Sami could carry that?? Well tbf probably KO as well, both of those guys could work with pretty much any type of match with any type of person

Jericho: "Steves comin back jacked. He's not coming back wearing just a shirt and shorts u know what I mean?"

Spoiler Alert....lol really tho, everyone loved the KO vs Austin match

I mean. I'd love to see Steve Austin vs Edge. Don't think we ever seen that. At least not in a program/feud.

I’m just surprised of all the possible years and opponents he’s chosen this year and KO. He went out on such a high. I can only think steve offered vince a one off match for him to cash in at some point and because they’re lacking in the roster he’s called that in. I hope it goes better than I think it will for everyone’s sake.

The oddest part about the Stone Cold match was that it wasn’t advertised. You have arguably the biggest star in history booked for 1 night only, and it’s sold as an appearance? Stone Cold has done countless appearances, marketing it as an official match surely would have skewed different. “Stone Cold returns to main event wrestlemania for one night only” is just a no brainer. Even the build right before the match when they sat in the ring was so weird and a bit deflated. Wasn’t Austin apparently dying to kick his ass? Owens basically had to bully him into fighting with a promo. If it was already advertised as a match they would have come out to a truly electric crowd instead of a confused one, the big fight feel they love to talk about on commentary would be on a silver platter. Anyway, it was a fun watch, I just can’t stop thinking about the flopped marketing around it hah

Let me get a point straight. Yes WWE has Roman, Brock and other big guys. But IMO Kevin Owens is the bigger star of them all. He is the real money maker for WWE. Whatever he gets he knocks it out of the park. He's that brilliant.
