Meet the Counselor: High School

High schoolers are faced with big decisions on their future career path and real-life issues at home. RaShawn McCraney from Firestone Community Learning Center explains how school counselors assist students in finding their way in during these formative years. Plus, he offers tips on how parents can engage with counselors to tag team supporting teens.

Hi .. I am Daveson .. and I am confused I completed high school last year 2021 .. and I seem not to know what to do with my life .. At the behind of my life I wanted to be an engineer..so after basic school I tarted building stuff but after high school . I just go struck y something .. but now I want to do medicine ..and I am still thinking about the engineering .as at now I am confused and don’t even know myself and again what I want and what I don’t want I don’t even know the career to choose now ..so I didn’t apply for school this year please I need your help 🤲
