I love what he says about how he just playing a character; a character who happens to be gay. Noel says the same thing about being Mickey. Love them all the more!💖

I think a reason Cameron plays Ian so well is because of the fact that he doesn't just see him as gay and more of the complexity of his character as a whole to the point where it almost just comes naturally

What I find fascinating about Ian is his stability and goal-oriented behavior. Ian has been working at the same job for awhile now and he obviously has the goal of being an officer in the military and I think it's those things that really set him apart and make him unique, not who he's sleeping with.

Yeah as far as the whole speech thing was concerned, I don't think people should be getting on his back about that. There is a lot of actors/actresses that are nervous. In interviews and stuff they are nervous but when they are acting they get the job done. They are people just like us.

*hugs* see, I love people like this. Like Darren, who plays Blaine in Glee, or Cameron. They understand the compexities and don't care what people think of them. They feel comfortable in the role because they understand what its trying to portray.

at one point i realized mickey almost goes farther than Ian. to take care of him and love him so much. someone poured water over my head. Ian IS so complex yet Mickey makes a longer journey and at many points is more caring. fucked up!!! LOVE both actors

I became addicted to him because of Gotham & i'm only on Season 2 so far still trying to catch up. & I found out he was in the giver which I ever noticed & also need to catch up on again haha! But like I found out he is in Shameless & heard he was playing a gay charecter & I was so happy! Like he doesn't care he plays a gay charecter & respects them! As a pansexual who grew love for him as an actor it makes me so happy & now I love him as a person too!
