so i saw this thing where this guy found money in an old chair he bought and gave it to the grandkids of the person who originally owned the chair. despite being poor and elderly this man got no reward. so i asked myself "is there a way to keep the money without lieing" then i remembered. the kids had no legal right to it. legally it was his. so if i was him i would have given them most the money but told them "i am keeping X for myself as is my legal right."
