Just got the 2015 SXL in white back in February and I love it. Especially the folding mirrors. It is the cherry on top of a nice looking car!

it's very surprising of how far the Optima has become compare to the optima behind the new optima

I have a 2013 SX and I love it!! I hate that this one does not have paddle shifting cause I love ladles shifting. I'm looking at adding a lot more power to it. Love the car great Job Kia!

Good job. Wish you could have covered some driving dynamics though.

this car beats the camry hands down on looks and interior. the 2014 camry is soooo ugly i actually prefer the 2009 version

Very nice car. I like the stiching on the seats, they remind me of those in the Audi s8 but for 41'700$ you can still get a sonata for less or a cadenza or even better, the new genesis

The Optima has does have paddle shifters. But only on the models that don't have the heated steering wheel. So you basically have to pick between the two. It is rather strange that both can't be had together though. Equally as surprising tho is how far Kia as a brand and the Optima as a model have come in the past few years. Just look at the early-2000's Optima behind this new one in this video for a good illustration. Buick has had a similar dramatic brand image transformation in the last 5-6 years or so as well, and both brands are two of the fastest growing brands in America now.

They do have paddle shifters. The ax limited doesn't. But the regular sx turbo does

I was looking at this or the 2015 Sonata Sport 2.0T with the Ultimate package. Think im going with the Sonata instead.

I love this car, I like the features and the exterior, but Im finding it hard to find the 1980 s style dashboard facing driver. Kinda like knight rider type dash. Nice but I wish I could look similar to the cadenza . And I agree the engine sounds almost like a lawnmower. But nice car overall.

the 2014 has a limited option (quilted seats)?!?! Where do I find one of those? I thought its only a 2016 option...

the vehicle is so sweet but i prefer the design of the 2013 sxl stering than the 2013 sx

Although I will agree with you that the interior and the exterior styling is very nice, I can't agree with what you said about slapping a BMW or Mercedes emblem on the car. I own a 2011 BMW 550i X-Drive M-Sport and the technology that is on that car will far exceed any current optima and the materials that they used are more expensive, which is why German cars and any luxury brand is so expensive. It comes down to expensive materials, superior technology, superior performance & build quality. Anyways, would I buy a Kia Optima? Absolutely, simply because they are good on gas, they have an amazing warranty and they are great looking cars now.
