Don’t just blame one party as Fresno, Bakersfield, San Bernardino, Anaheim, Stockton, Oildale, Redlands, etc are all high crime with republican mayors. Orange County has a Republican DA. Anaheim republican mayor just resigned after allegations. Stockon has people wanting leaving due to feeling unsafe while they voted the way more than ever for a Republican mayor who doesn’t do much. I can list independent run cities too. Just because the governor is a democrat doesn’t mean all cities will follow his orders since some mayors really hate him and go by their own rules.
