and also middle-ware things is most annoying thing in Next.js cuz it runs on so called edge and you always need hacks to make your db connections work may be bcrypt work or any other thing i suggest use separate backend and use Next.js as front end framework with ssr and server driven ui

that's why i use to separate backend like nest js cuz for backend stuff Next.js is not full y mature yet

Knew this is going to happen anyday, that's why never used nextjs for any kind of backend things, using nestjs in backend and nextjs only in frontend without middleware😂

Now I don't like next js, I am moving to nuxt or Vue.
