Huy phong makes (or used to make) a chili sauce called tuong ot viet nam which was like a chunkier sriracha, I bought a jar of that and it kept me through the last shortage

Then I got some chili paste with shrimp in it from the local asian market, it's way spicier than sriracha or sambal oelek. Excellent stuff for stir fry etc.

I found some recently and it was incredibly brown. It was so far off from the OG color it seemed fake.

There is no Sriracha shortage... There are tons of other "sriracha" sauces on the market... Or just come to Sriracha, Thailand... and really, after watching the vids on YT about Huy Phoung business practices, do you really want to continue to support them?

Come on these are man made shortages, I do appreciate you addressing the issue and how to work around it. I do love the the original Huy Fong for it's complicated flavor profile and taste. God bless you young man, may you have continued success so we can have your guidance as long as possible.
