Fantastic stream btw. He's got a big enough brain to make a complicated process sound understandable and she provides very good chemistry. I feel obligated to mention it because I've been critical of other UE4 streams in the past.

For those who are new to this, there's a point Sam forgot to mention. Minute 36:37, he's showing stats and stuff. Bear in mind that you have to test FULL-SCREEN. It drops the FPS significantly. If you're aware the full screen is always chopping FPS by the half, so you're okay. Of course, if you're developing for 1920X1080 screen PC (60 FPS is what you'll need).

This live training video is great! On about 43:50 was the best part for me. I have some things in my game with about 10 ms duration. Now I know what I have to fix! Thank you!

Fix the audio sync on this video, please. But for now, install the YouTube Audio/Video Sync extension for Chrome and set the delay to 175000ms

Excellent stream, very informative. Most of the topics discussed apply to other engines as well.

Excellent video! Later came for me and now I'm working on performance about halfway through the project and trying to figure out the textures and memory allocation but it looks like the merge tool is your best friend when it comes to Performance.

If someone can't open the console, go to Edit > Project Settings > Input > search for Console and change the key

Anyone else having severe audio desync? Watching this long after it went live and the audio is like a full 5 or so minutes ahead of the footage.

I cant even figure out whats costing me the most. it just says primitive memory. I need a more in depth guide of what the meanings are as to what I need to change. It doesnt just say stuff like post process volume, just says a ton of memory is used on primitive. How am I supposed to figure out whats sucking up all the memory?
