The amount of people that asked for McFlurrys McNuggets and McChickens was astounding working at Wendy’s and Dairy Queen

Worked at a McDonald's in my teens. An angry woman rolled up and demanded a baked potato. I told her we don't have baked potatoes, but we have fries. Getting Increasingly angrier, she started screaming that she always gets baked potatoes from here. I said ma'am this is a McDonald's. She sped off without saying another word.
Another time my life was threatened over not giving someone chicken tenders, another thing we didn't have

Not fast food, but I had a customer call ten minutes before I clocked out, because he was having a hard time getting his number released from his current carrier over to his new phone. He cursed me out for a good eight minutes about why he was leaving and wouldn’t let me say anything so I just listened. At the end of his rant he finally said and that’s why I’m leaving you T-Mobile SUCKS!!! And I just laughed and replied “Sir this is Verizon” 😂😂😂

I have seen a guy straight up wearing a dress, a wig, make-up, everything at the drive thru window wear I worked. I wasn't going to say anything but the guy just said "This was a bet." And I simply said, "I see." The funny thing is I work at a Wendy's 💀

Work at Wendy’s right now and have since the location opened. Originally the location was a Burger King so for that first year there were many moments of people trying to order onion rings, or even quarter pounders, frozen cokes, all of it.

I’ve also noticed people don’t remember chicken nuggets are just that and not all nuggies are McNuggets.

Every time they order. Also wendys has unisex kids toys there is no boy toy and girl toy just a toy. We also have under three toys so if your child is too young for what we’re offering and may get hurt please request the under three toy or let us know.

I worked at Wendy's, and i constantly had people trying to order a Big Mac meal or McNuggets or a Whopper. I would actually say "Sir/Ma'am, this is a Wendys."

I also worked at Panera Bread and had a few people trying to order Panda Express menu items.

Not me an old teacher and friend of mine, he was working in a doughnut shop and someone called. He picked up the phone and immediately gets "IS MY CAR READY?!"

He is silent and simply says "This is a doughnut shop"

At Wendy’s, I was asked to go get a manager. So I looked down at my manager uniform, with my manager neck tie, and my manager name tag, and said, “Hi, how can I help you?”

How hard is it not to be a jerk to service people? Like even without basic respect, remember who is handling your food

"Can I get a burger?" Honey, this is a Chick-fil-A. The Whataburger is next door. And yes, when they see my confused expression, they will angrily patronize me about what a burger is before I calmly tell them that they are at the wrong restaurant.

I was at Mc donalds just working, and some random guy walks in and orders 3 large Daniel's. I legit said "sir this is a Mc donalds. Please just say big Mac if that's what your talking about." AND HE STRAIGHT UP WALKED OUT.

“Do y’all have burgers?”
“Can I have a fish sandwich?”
“Do you guys have oatmeal?” (that was discontinued YEARS AGO!!)

When I worked at Subway our card reader was ANCIENT and the general manager couldn't be bothered to order us a new one. It would stop working CONSTANTLY and we would have to put signs everywhere saying "cash only". One time, I reminded this guy when he got to the line, he just said "yeah ok" and told me his order. We got to the cash register, rung up his order and told him his total and he tried to stick his card in the card reader that had a big plastic bag wrapped around it, then he proceeded to scream at me about it. I told him "there's an ATM at the gas station next door". And he screamed at me again because the ATMs charge to pull out of your account. So I grabbed his order and set it on the prep counter in the back and told him "well, there are 4 other fast food joints across the street. Have a nice day."

Once I was at a gas station and was trying to scan my loyalty card and it isn't working. The cashier says "ma'am, that's a Sheetz loyalty card." I said"yes?" She looked at me nervously, obviously worried i was going to yell at her, and replied "ma'am, this is a Wawa." 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻 I laughed so hard at my own stupidity, apologizing profusely. She looked so relieved that I wasn't crazy. Not crazy, just tired sweetheart. Thankyou for being so patient with the idiot public. 😂
