ULTRA RARE E36 M3 Magma Interior Is Not What I Payed For…

Can't say I'm not super bummed out about this. Lots more damage than expected. What do you think I should do about it? Should I fix it, sell it, or buy another interior? I could also use the money from the sale to perfect my current interior.

The black part of the door panels are vinyl, not leather. Only the Magma insert and grab handle are leather.

Everything you have shown, less the vinyl scratches, regarding the door panels are known issues. All of them have these issues with age/mileage.

All of that stuff is a total loss in my opinion. Even the rear seats are junk. Sorry to say that and that you bought it. I would relist it all, disclosing everything and get out of it. There is nothing there that is worth using.

I have a Magma interior and its a bit of an odd color but i has grown one me. Easy to keep clean. I have the sport seats but would totally like some vaders. Very hard to find.

anytime you buy used door cards, prepare to refurbish them yourself. salvage the magma door inserts, secure a decent door panel set from the junk yard and reglue them in. Otherwise, pay $700 brand new door panels

I’ve been following the seller / middle man for over a decade, he’s a big seller. Roughly every 6 months he posts on his media blowing up a buyer who is not happy with the goods he received or similar. A couple of years ago I thought “you know, this happens a lot more often than it should if you’re not the problem.” He takes good photos at very specific angles. I’m not surprised that his goods look better in photo than in person. Unfortunately that can be very misleading. Hopefully this is not a regular thing.
