If the theory that Micheal is now Glamrock Freddy were to be true, this would fit perfectly as Freddy & Gregory watch Burntrap get attacked by the Withered Animatronics & Blob after breaking free from his control while they all get eaten by the flames. (Almost like Scar’s death by the Hyenas in Lion King.)
-William can sense Micheal within Freddy which is why he calls out to him.
-The Animatronics being in a damaged state would both sacrifice & get revenge on William for the bad things he made them do.
