his eye movements and large alert ears remind me of my basenji mix. so beautiful and so aware. my boy was a mix but he looked just like a basenji with a 79 lb body size. I miss his yodel and kindness. I do not miss his ability to climb out of any enclosure, including my house. They're smarter than us. it's true.

My basenji does the same thing, we put a bell on the back door and he’ll ring it when he wants to go out, our word is ‘grout?’ Go + out and he starts spinning
