I’m portuguese and since the first time Cristiano went to United that I support the club. It has been sad to see United like this, but please trust me when I say that If the fans and the board back Amorim, if they give him the right players, United will fight for the premier league title in 25/26 season. This man knows what he’s doing, he is a natural born leader, communicator and a very good coach. Forget this season and just back him up in every thing, because if you have patience, he’ll bring back United to the top. Sporting was 20 years without winning, until he arrived and won two championships, played the most dominant football, and was in his way to win another one when United bought him, and he still left Sporting in second place in the Champions League. Every club he went, he won, and the players were always with him. When he left Sporting, the media applauded and thanked him in his last game, because of how he always spoke truthfully and politely with them. This guy is the most charismatic Portuguese coach since Mourinho, and not in an arrogant kind of way. Back him up, show the board you’re with him, and you’ll see the results.

If you dont really understand what Amorim means with “everybody is to confortable here”, in the 22-23 Sporting finished 4th in the league with him. The year after, in the begining, he said “ If we dont win titles Sporting can Kick me out of the job” just to put the standards were they should be. We were champions that year 23-24, after the quote
