Tropa Magica (Formerly Thee Commons) is a relentless touring band who played 45 shows over the course of barely 60 days in the fall of 2017 alone. The East LA trio is known for their raw, tireless stage presence and hypnotic, inventive musical dynamism. They shift from straight ahead punk to trippy technical rock to groovy traditional music with perfect execution, resulting in a standalone genre the band has dubbed Psychedelic Cumbia Punk.
