10 Month Update - Dream Reef Tank. New Fish, Coral & Gear!

I cannot believe 10 months has passed with my dream reef tank and what a dream it is turning out to be!

In this episode I'll go over the gorgeous new fish in the system (and there is a heap of new characters!), show you how every single coral in the system is tracking (up close and in glorious 4K) and give a quick tour of the logistics of the system showcasing some new equipment.

Excellent update and inspiring. When my daughter and son said they wanted a fish 2 months ago when Sydney went into lockdown, they wanted a Nemo fish. It brought back memories of just over 30 years ago when I ran a marine tank with my dad. Saltwater marine tanks was another thing back then and having a sump with bio balls was the only thing we used to keep marine fish but I know the effort required to keep these fish alive back then. I’d never would even consider corals back then as it was known to be a lottery. Now in today’s world and you and all the other Aussie YouTubers have been inspiring. I’ve been following your channel religiously for the last two months and many of my purchases have been inspired by your reviews and your setups. Don’t tell my wife but I think you and other youTubers have singlehandedly blown my budget by 3x and now I’ve decided AWCs and a sea torch algae scraper are the way to go. I’m excited as I’ve just started cycling my new tank 3 days ago and now hoping in about 6 weeks I’ll be able to add a pair of Nemo’s to the tank. My daughter who has just turned 6 last week would love the Nemo set. I think it will help prepare her for the planned first additions to the tank. Keep up the videos. I had no idea Atlantic Blue Tangs were in the Australian aquarium trade! I’ve been fortunate enough to see them in the wild in the Bahamas
