As a fellow queer Australian, it makes me so immensely happy that Courtney has been receiving an increasing amount of positive media coverage around the world, not only because it’s so important for queer activists such as Courtney to be seen and heard, but also because Courtney is one of the kindest and most caring drag performers to have risen to fame because they were on drag race.

I met Courtney is a club in Sydney but she actually approached me to tell me she loved my outfit. I was so nervous and just bluttered out it’s my birthday she wished me a happy birthday and walked off her and Heidi n closet are the nicest queens I’ve met

i wish other Ru Girls were as compassionate to fans because it’s totally fine to not want to be recognized, but I’ve seen some queens in public and every time, I always try to discreetly go up and say “So sorry, don’t wanna bother, but I love you so much.” and most have been nice… but some have just looked me dead in the eyes and then proceeded to turn their backs to me… *cough* and one of them is a very LOVED winner…
