Ha! The Jehovah's witnesses started me on my journey as well! It's almost like God walked them into my life right after getting saved so that it would instill a passion in me for knowing God's Word and knowing it WELL because they sure will test you!

I like Wilbur. I don't agree with you about some things like Enoch, but I found your show from kingdom in context and I really like your attitude. And you have great arguments for keeping the Sabbath :)!!!

Using Daniel 9, Daniel in general... To prove the timing of Messiah. Great point

According to Jews I have talked with, they don't believe Daniel is a prophet. They disregard Daniel as just part of the "writings".

Thank You, David. This topic and conversation was EXACTY what I’ve been looking for to connect dots between Judaism and Christianity. Living in Indiana, I’m buried in generations of biblical errors. Not saying they’re salvation errors or anything like JW teachings. Weeding thru KJV-only, America is God’s nation nonsense, replacement theory 🥴, a NewTestament trumps the TaNaKh POV, just calling the TaNaKh ‘the Old Testament’ feels blasphemous to me … I find it VERY difficult to find apologetic discussions on these topics. For my personal journey, as how to worship alongside Jews without ‘stealing their identity’, balance Torah laws with details like Leviticus 19:19, how ‘declaring all food clean’ means FOOD, not things that were forbidden to eat (things forbidden to eat would not be food). Sorry, I rambled. Ty for introducing me to an amazing teacher. I’m looking forward to adding him to my list.

David, I have a genuine question for you since I’m trying to figure out the correct path to being obedient to the Lord. Aside from the 10 commandments which is the Moral Law, I’m trying to decide whether or not to follow the Torah. Since you believe all Christians should keep the Torah, I’m a little confused as to how that’s possible. There are 613 commandments in the entire Torah, and if someone is guilty of breaking even the least of the commandments, they are guilty of breaking them all. That would mean if you did everything right but just broke one small commandment, all the other commandments you kept would be broken as well. How can any one claim to keep the Torah when this is clearly impossible for man to do?

I was also into the Jehovah's Witnesses. I studied with a family for over a year but left when I saw how authoritative the watchtower was. It's amazing how much of God's people are coming out of it.
