Simple Conduit rack Spacing Tip to get straight conduit pipe racks

Easy way to space conduit rack pipes with a torpedo level. Simple tip, trick.

If your running 1” emt use 7/8” strut as a spacer and and you will have 2” center on center

You can also custom cut a short piece of strut any size you need and use that as your spacer, learned that from one of the journeymen out on the field

it's a checkpoint. The strut strap is facing the wrong direction for screwdriver use. You're working backwards...unless you're using a wrench to tighten the straps. Just sayin. Buy a no-dog...it gives you three spacing options. 1/2, 1, & 2. Get pissed!

the OD of a 1 inch EMT is 1-3/16 which is pretty damn close to 1-1/8th spacing

But you have to be near the end of the conduit. Sometimes thats not so easy.
