This video follows my week on expedition with Armed Forces charity Future Terrain. They spent the week pushing my limits and the amazing guys they work with by driving Dacia Dusters on a variety of off-road surfaces.

After a day of classroom theory and practice we headed to Broughton Burrows to put our skills into practice. It didn't take long to get a car stuck and the fun escalated from there. You simply won't believe how capable the Dacia Duster is. It blew me away.

For more information about Future Terrain and the incredible work they do take a look at their website...

I always admired Dacia for their no nonsense budget motoring approach, offered at a very sensible and realistic price, after watching this I am now convinced of their durability as well, what a great company to sponsor such a worthy cause for all of our brave armed forces heros !!.

I've down graded from a BMW M240 to a Dacia Duster Mk2 and I actually have to say that apart from out and out speed the Duster wins hands down. What an incredible vehicle and I genuinely have to say that driving combined with the technology that Dacia adds makes this an incredible car. It looks great and drives better than most cars around currently

Catching up, been busy! Great Respect for Future Terrain - I'm a 24 year Veteran. What they do for my Bother and Sister Veterans is amazing. AND, I didn't realise the Duster was actually a capable off-roader - double win. Thank you for being part of this, Pete.

What a great way to spend a ‘week?’ With a bunch of guys learning these off road skills and having a go. It’s lovely to read and hear about these organisations that help and support the ex-army soldiers and give them a new purpose. I can imagine that is was a throughly enjoyable experience all helped with some crazy and some problem solvers. Looking forward to episode 2.

Absolutely fantastic video Peter. You clearly had an awesome time. Great to see such a fantastic charity doing such amazing things. Takes me back to my days as an Instructor at Bovington, flying around the training areas in all sorts of vehicles. Can’t wait for the next episode 😉👌🏻

How much of that is the Dacia Duster and how much of that is the training? All the techniques shown makes me think they could get a fleet of Ford Kas to do the same tasks. :)

That looked like a lot of fun but very interesting as well. Who would of known how capable the Duster was but there were experts on hand to guide you. Looking forward to the next one.

Well done Pete and everyone else involved, fascinating to learn about sand dune driving and who thought a Duster could do all that. 👍

This brings back memories of me mucking about in my Delica many years ago. Following along the banks of the Warwickshire Avon where no cars had previously driven. A flooded riverside road was always fun, but you would have to know precisely how deep the water is. And 3ft of flood water can be tricky ;-))...
I shall watch tomorrow awaiting to hear your screams :-))...

Great video Mr P - what I took away from this is that Dacia have a good business model, budget cars that work, can't be a bad thing in my view

Evening pal. I’d be interested doing that Lantra course at the start. Looked an epic weeks worth of adventures, plus I have to say, Dacia, well, wouldn’t have been my first choice, but wow. I thought Land Rover system had no competition. 👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Hmm, thanks for that Pedro... it's been quiet a long time ago when I used to do that in 90's

Great advert for a vehicle I didn't know much about👍❤. That's some good skill for that man to only ride with one good arm👍👍.

Awesome fun and some great people leading this charity. Hoping not to find myself beached on sand in the clubman anytime soon, but some learning points taken away. Look forward to part two.

There's a company in Europe that turn Dusters in to Mudsters. Good to see proper training before and during your week. Better get onto land rover about the new Defender I took one off roading and was impressed. I have done a fair bit of off roading over the years in Land Rovers.

You should come to Australia 🇦🇺 and have a go with 4 wheel drive.

Hahaha! The subtitles call them Thatcher 🤣
But that looked like great fun, though I would have to say that I'd be itching to jump on one of those dirt bikes, as that was my regular transport for many years. After work I'd often be up in the hills before getting home for tea!
