Yes! I would like a lot of things to be changed about the school system, but that doesn't mean that I don't love my students and my subject matter. In fact, I think part of what makes a good teacher is understanding that not all students learn in the exact same way, and that things need to change about the way we teach kids in order for them to become more engaged with the materials.

I work in mental health.. I wanna burn down our entire system but the states and feds are all in charge and I HATE how people who don't understand health or mental health are in charge. But I love my work.

I really needed to hear this. I’m a college freshman going to school to become a special ed teacher. I have had to deal with my parents trying to talk me out of becoming a teacher by bringing up the cons of teaching and the changing educational system. I don’t necessarily like what I have been seeing, but none of the cons or changes is going to be enough to talk me out of becoming a teacher. I understand that teaching is a difficult job and I am ok with it. I just wish my parents would understand that.

Lol wow. Teaching is a job, obviously an important one, and the people who work in that field can (and are allowed) to be stressed from their job but still love it on most days, just as anyone else is. Good grief.

This is EVERY JOB. I want to scream daily at my job (delivering food to people's houses), but I also love my job too much to go elsewhere. Lbvfs
