FAF Build Order Tutorial || FAF/Supreme Commander Tutorial

Hello! This a simple tutorial for new players interested in getting better at their build orders (Bo's) on FAF (Supreme Commander). A BO is very important since keeping a good eco balance on the first minutes will ensure you don't stall energy or mass when you start a match.

I summarized the two main build orders in case anyone would like to put them in a notepad and be able to look at the notes while playing for practice.

Standard Build Order (No Hydro):
1) WITH ACU: Land factory
2) 2 power generators
3) 2 mass extractors
4) 2 power generators
5) 2 mass extractors
6) LAND FACTORY: Queue, a few engineers (3 is fine), tank, scout, engineer....repeated
7) Allocate idle engineers to reclaim nearby as your ACU will be busy with the build order.
Usually the first two engineers will go out for reclaim while the third helps the ACU. This depends on the map.
Notes: The ratio will be 1 power generator for each land factory and 3 power generators for each air factory

Build Order With Hydro (Hydro Rush)
1) Start with land factory as usual
2) If the hydro is nearby then create:
- 4 mass extractors
- Ensure the ACU moves towards the hydro after building (remember the range of your ACU)
3) LAND FACTORY: Queue, a few engineers (4 was used in this case), tank, scout, engineer.... repeated
4) After first engineer pops out, move them toward the hydro, move them there diagonally so they don't have to move.
5) The engineer can spam land/air factories. If choosing to build air factory by hydro do this:
- Engineer builds 4 power generators and then air factory.
- Engineer then builds a power generator then a land factory x3
6) Remember to assist the engineer with ACU as well as another engineer.
7) Other engineers should be used to expand and reclaim.

When you do the engi reclaim, are you clicking each rock or drag click or somthing else that auto clicks them all?

U know that you can rekclaim trees and rocks with the engi bots by just patroling the area u dont havd to klick evry tree or rock that way

Guy I had this game since it came out and I can’t handle it I can’t played very well and I really want to finish the campaign. Btw great video I’ll try to learn even more of this game it’s such a good one but really hard for someone like me.

Is it smart to occupy the core maxes like that? With t3 the efficiency of maxes goes up if its surrounded by mass storage
