Wanted to point out that usually Moomintroll asks for a hug with his body language and Snufkin doesn't reciprocate, which Moomintroll while disappointed doesn't push the subject, but this time Moomintroll fully aware of how Snufkin reacts to a proposal for a hug resort to their usual greeting instead but Snufkin initiated the hug this time, which was obviously greatly appreciated by Moomintroll.

I just loved how Moomin went for the handshake and let Snufkin react his way but Snufkin ended up hugging him because he wanted to do it and he knew it would make Moomin happy. The magic of friendship ;w; (and repressed gay feelings) As someone as introverted and reserved as Snufkin I appreciate the writers respecting this kind of people and how sometimes we aren't cold, we just need our time and that's ok.

When Sniff jumped onto Moomintroll, I was like "No, don't you dare ruin their moment!", but when I saw Snufkin and Moomintroll hugged, I was like "EEEPP, it's so adorable!!"
