Camera Cart: Folding, Aluminum, CHEAP

This is what I'm using as a camera cart- folds flat, fits in many vehicles, easy on the wallet. Here's the links:

Other hardware can be purchased at Home Depot or any home improvement/ lumber store.

Note, steel folding scaffolds are also available (I own them too) but I think the aluminum one is better for camera/sound gear.

Quick update- one of the legs bent when the wheel fell into a pothole in a parking lot. This cart was fully loaded, but did prove to be a little too light weight for regular day to day production work.

I am literally sitting on my portable rolling scaffolding setup I got from Home Depot. I use it exactly like yours, but I haven't upgraded the wheels yet. That's next!

Great idea BUT the problem with videos like this is the sellers realize the potential and they jack up the price. The aluminium scaffold in just over a year has gone up $100 so what was once 199 is now 299 so that's a 50 percent increase. Hard to believe the raw materials in this scaffold are subject to that much inflation. Chalk this up to gouging. Mind you the buy off the shelf carts out there are the post boys for gouging . Anything with a film moniker to it and its 5 times the price. like the hook add on. If you put that on a film production site it would be called a production cart accessory to hold cabling and tripods.
So yes this is cheap relative to the crazy stuff sold these days and its clearly designed to be abused so it will last forever with the modest wear and tear from production gear. Great idea but beware of the gougers.
