This sounds like some bootleg casino. It doesn’t take four shows to realize they aren’t playboy bunnies. I have friends whose bands play casinos and they all had to be approved before they got these gigs. The casinos dictate their set list, their clothing, and more. One friend played keyboard in a band and would look so bored during their set. He told me he hated playing the same songs and arrangements night after night but the money was so good.

The plaintiff needs to sue the casino and then the casino needs to sue the defendant if this whole 'wrong representation' is true . Or the casino should do the honourable thing and pay for entertainment given and not rehire the group again if they are not what they want . Surely the casino should have watched some footage of them performing to see if that's what they want ?

I understand JJ's position, but somehow I believe the Plaintiff and her witness. It's a shame they didn't have proof to support their claim.

1: 16 - One of the best things about being able to watch these JJ clips now on YouTube is that I can choose to pause the video! Lol Example, I can actually get a good look at this "flyer". On TV, you'd only have a few seconds to look at it before it's gone. And no rewind 😁

The entertainment industry is cut throat. The casino ate the steak but didn't want to pay for it. They're afraid to sue the casino because they'll get blacklisted for future gigs, not just from that casino but other casinos in town as well. However, they're broke and desperate for cash (look at that Juan guys' clothes) which is why they tried suing him. The booking agent's job is to get the performer(s) gigs and he gets a cut. Since the casino reniged that means he got screwed as well. That's the sad reality if you want to be in the entertainment business

I hope they sued the casino and got paid. They should be paid if they performed. As Judge Judy says if you ate the steak, you pay for it. You can complain about the steak but you have to pay if you ate it. They did four shows, if they were canceled after one show, they would have been paid for that one show at least.
