Thank you for this ... my little boy is 4 & half he is a terrible fussy eater! No fresh vegetables and has now stopped liking fruit too! I get so fed up of cooking the same things! Whenever I put something different on his plate he won’t even try it!

I'm so glad I found your channel! Our stories are somewhat similar. I have been living in the U.S for almost 11 years now (also from Brazil) and have two toddlers (twins). I'm a middle school teacher here and love it. My kids are pretty picky when it comes to eating, and my lifestyle is similar to yours, so I look forward to watching more of your videos!

Being a fussy eater as a kid has ruined my life long term. Whilst my parents were thankfully extremely understanding, my school were not and force fed me until I was sick, often. As an adult I now have an eating disorder ARFID, and I can’t even try new things in fear of not liking it as my gag reflex is so strong, I can’t even get things down if I don’t like them, I’ll be sick immediately. If I’m faced with trying something new I think I won’t like I shake, have panic attacks. It’s awful. Just a crazy trauma reaction all because I was labelled as being picky and adults didn’t understand! Even now I get people going “why don’t you at least try” and say I’m immature. I’m now saving up for hypnotherapy to try and help. It’s lovely to see such a calm, accepting way to parent picky eating because it can so often be desperately misunderstood!

Thank you for this video. My 22 month old only eats garlic bread, bread sticks and fish fingers. So tough getting him to try food.

Thanks so much for sharing Ysis- this is helpful. I do have a fussy eater who never used to be when she was younger. But she is now. I have faith that she will like all the food again in future 😂 but for now it is tough and hubby and I feel in a bit of a rut with recipes and meals and my son is picking up on her habits - happily she eats lots of fruit and veg but she doesn’t even eat pasta or spaghetti anymore which used to be a failsafe. Tbh we just haven’t panicked exactly as you say. We continue to offer the food and we look at the whole week of nutritionist rather than just a day. We have an organic vitamin that’s a liquid but I often forget it as life is so busy so will def give these a try as I think the kids will enjoy them more and maybe remind me! I have a channel too where I talk about home, lifestyle, parenting and fashion and beauty. I’m totally in Christmas mode now 😊 it’s all about the festive vibes!! Thanks for sharing - lovely to see you again Xx

Hi Ysis, I had induction due to IUGR baby 3 weeks ago. I worry so much for my baby. I do not know if she will grow normally like other kids, especially physical and cognitive development. Please give me advise. I appreciate it. Thank you so much!!!
