But I still don't understand why people started using 1024 bytes to be 1 kilobyte? Why 1024? Bytes has nothing with binary any more, bites are binary but bytes are not...
I'm thinking maybe because how they store this number in memory... It is only one 1 and rest are zeros so thay can somehow short that but I don't know how... To store 1024 in binary we need 11 bits (first 1 and 10 zeros) and to store 1000 we need 10 bits I don't get it... Am I stupid or what?
