Impression of 18 holes round of Golf at Golf Club Hainburg

We were amazed that we could play the course. In our '365 Days of Golf' road trip we were travelling in a week with just rain and wind.
Hole 2,3,4 were nicely redirected, because to the heavy waterfall these hole were to wet. Since than we never noticed that there were any problems with the water.
On the golf course of Hainburg golf club you need a good physical shape because it goes always up. From hole 5 onwards you climbing up hills were you and at the club house again at hole 9.
Therefore hole 10 starts on the flat bit again, but than it never stops till hole 16; the steepest part for the end.
Not to many water hazards and fairway bunkers and also the total length of the course is not the longest one with its5646 from yellow and its 4949 meter from red.

Nice restaurant facilities with good looking terrace. Good showers.

We waren verrast dat we deze baan konden spelen. In onze '365 Days of Golf' rondreis hadden we een week met alleen maar regen en daardoor veel gesloten banen.
Hole 2, 3 en 4 waren opgeleid maar daarna hebben we niets meer van de hevige regenval gemerkt.

Op golfbaan Hainburg van de gelijknamige club heb je een goede conditie nodig. Vanaf hole 5 gaat het alleen maar omhoog.Tot aan de green van hole 9 want die eindigd netjes bij het clubhuis. Daarvoor begint hole 10 ook op het vlakke, maar daarna is het echt klimmen. Tot aan hole 17.
Niet al te veel water hindernissen en fairway bunkers en ook de totale lengte is niet de langste met een lengte van 5646 meter vanaf geel en 4949 vanaf rood.
